Undealt with, this false identity of thoughts are strong, and dominantly bombard your thinking so much, that you continue to re-live and experience that same pain over and over again, every time creating new pain thoughts of yourself and the source of your pain.
Finding yourself is a beautiful thing, but it has its challenges. When we start to be honest with ourselves and others, I think we are on the way to freedom, which results in finding ourselves.
My journey led me to the most valuable experience, that being, rediscovering who I am apart from religion. I think, one of the most fundamental and critical question everyone can ask themselves is: “Who am I ??”
I have been contemplating the man, Jesus, and I am more and more convinced just how human a person he was. He really and truly was one of us! Just as we are, I believe he chose to contemplate his identity and journey his discoveries of who he knew he was.
